Jodo Kast was a bounty hunter active in the Galactic Civil War era. Kast wore modified Mandalorian armor, and was sometimes mistaken for Boba Fett as a result. However, he had no known connection with the Mandalorians. He was an independent bounty hunter, who was known to work for Black Sun.

Jodo Kast served the Rebel Alliance as a Special Operations resistance fighter. However, Kast valued credits over political ideals like justice and freedom. During a messy engagement, Kast killed a Mandalorian Crusaders, who he had mistaken for Boba Fett during the confusion.

Afterward, he realized his mistake, but the encounter did give him an idea. Using the Mandalorian armor he salvaged from the planet Zaadja, Kast deserted his resistance group and began working as a bounty hunter. He initially impersonated Boba Fett, as a way into the profession, but later began operating under his own name.

With his track record, Kast grew arrogant. Kast ultimately out-smarted himself. By this time, believing Boba Fett to have died after his encounter with the Sarlacc on Tatooine, he had started to impersonate the infamous Mandalorian again. On Nal Hutta, the overconfident hunter allowed Boba Fett to lure him into a trap. There, the Mandalorian beat him, took his armor, and left him to die in an explosion.
