Wat Tambor was Foreman of the Techno Union and Executive of Baktoid Armor Workshop during the Clone Wars. He was also the Techno Union's representative in the Galactic Senate and later a member of the Separatist Council.
Wat was eventually approached by Count Dooku, the leader of the Separatist movement himself, and was convinced to secretly prepare weapons for the Separatists. It was not until other corporations interested in joining the Separatists met with Count Dooku and Archduke Poggle the Lesser on Geonosis that Wat pledged the support of the Techno Union to the CIS, as well as the Techno Union's droid army.
Along with the rest of the Separatist Council, Tambor was put under the personal protection of General Grievous by Count Dooku. Grievous eventually chose Utapau as the council's hideout, but, on the orders of Darth Sidious, relocated the Separatist Council to the volcanic planet Mustafar, which was owned by the Techno Union, in the final days of the war. It was here that he was killed by Anakin Skywalker, now Darth Sidious's new apprentice Darth Vader, along with the other members of the council. Wat tried to break through the wall of the Separatist Council Conference Room with his metal arms, but Vader reached him before he succeeded. In an attempt to spare his life, Wat promised Vader to give him anything he wanted, but Vader coldly struck him down.
